I purchased this for my daughter who is starting a collection of the Le Creuset items. She loves the kiwi color. Ordering this item through Amazon was less expensive than buying the product locally. My daughter loves this batter bowl and not only keeps it out for decoration but uses it for baking and making pancakes as well. The Le Creuset items come very well packaged....I ordered several pieces and nothing was damaged.

I already own a few other Le Creuset items in Cherry and Cobalt, and although they are gorgeous colors... I've found Kiwi to be my favorite of them all. I can't wait to start collecting other Le Creuset items in Kiwi now. It's the perfect shade of green and the color reminds me of a shiny, green apple. I also love how the color fades to a lighter shade, giving it a unique touch. The bowl is sturdy and big enough for whenever I want to make a big omelette or make some cookies. It's a gorgeous bowl and I know it's something I'll feel proud of if anyone sees it. :)

I love the color - especially as it fades from light to dark - and this is a gorgeous addition to the kitchen counter - something you'll want to leave out rather than put away. However, it's small - I was planning to use it as my main mixing bowl when baking, but it's not big enough for very much dough/batter. I'm sure it will be useful for various purposes, but if you're looking for it to be your go-to mixing bowl, it's probably too small.
