Customer Product Reviews

Dior 146469 Review by Gigi Ginger (Texas Somewhere)

One of my favorites. I'll be putting this on my Christmas list. The scent is delicious and long lasting. Youthful and fun without being too young (I'm in my 30's and this scent still appeals to me). Seems fruity, floral and creamy at the same time. I'm very particular and have allergies, but Miss Dior Cherie has been perfect for me.

Tried to buy this on Ebay one time and received a counterfeit! These items are highly imitated. Know what you're buying. Sample it at the dpt store and feel the bottle in your hand. The box and bottle will be of high quality. Definitely buy from a trusted source and read many reviews of the company if you buy from a different vendor from Amazon. Even though Amazon's policy says you can't return a flammable liquid, you still can get good customer service if your product is fake or damaged - if it's fulfilled by Amazon.

Dior 146469 Review by Kat (Holliston, Ma USA)

The bottle is much prettier than the picture shows. The purfume came quickly and I am very happy with the purchase. The purfume smells young and fresh!!!

Dior 146469 Review by Barney

My wife really loves this, she gave me a couple of different types to look for and this one was the one I went with. Can't beat the price either.

Jessie G. Women's Long Hooded Down Parka Coat with Fox Fur Trim - Black M Customer Product Reviews

Jessie G. Women's Long Hooded Down Parka Coat with Fox Fur Trim - Black M Review by A. Wolf (Brookline, MA United States)

While preparing to come to St. Petersburg, I did a lot of research about coats. The most common trade-off was that a stylish coat would not be warm, and the warm coats were ugly/utilitarian. This coat somehow manages to be both warm and stylish while also not being too bulky.

I've had the coat for about 2 months and so far have used it in temperatures from -25 to 2 C (-13 to 35 F). With proper layering, only my face gets cold while wearing this coat (but that's what scarves are for). The drawstring hood is amazing and stays on in the wind.

My only complaint is that the coat lacks an inside pocket, which I didn't realize from the info on Amazon.

I am 5'1" and got the small, which fits me really well and allows room for layering underneath. It reaches about mid-calf.

Jessie G. Women's Long Hooded Down Parka Coat with Fox Fur Trim - Black M Review by mom of two

I sent it back. I am 5'5 and a little under 140 pounds (that is after two boys; my prebaby weight was 124). Still, I should have ordered my true size (small) - I am swimming in Med, unless one really likes the baggy style. Aside from the size issue, I did not like the brown color - it was rather dull, do not get it unless it is your true color. I got the short parka by this company instead, in small size and black color and pretty happy with that. The black color was rich, with a little shine, and the fit is perfect - hugging me in all the right places.

Jessie G. Women's Long Hooded Down Parka Coat with Fox Fur Trim - Black M Review by TG (Virginia)

This coat in Med fit perfectly, extremely warm walking coat and I think it even looks fashionable. The snaps AND zipper are great features, and the sides zip so there's no chance of ripping. My Mom bought it for me, and it was the best gift!

Summer Infant 73560 Feedback

Summer Infant 73560 Review by Chelle

I ordered this for my sister since she swaddled her baby in a blanket every night to help him sleep - her method looked complicated, and I had seen these at Babies R Us for sale. She claims the baby loves it and has made it putting him down easier at night. I wish they made an XL size, as I'm not sure given his size that he'll be able to use it beyond a couple of months.

Summer Infant 73560 Review by bearcraz18

I had two of these in the Small (7-14 pound) size, but my son started outgrowing those when he was 12 pounds. Since he was only two months old at that point, he still really needed to be swaddled. We tried other baby swaddlers before we discovered the Large size Swaddleme. The Swaddleme is truly the best of the bunch.

Pros:
* It's very easy to use. Legs in the pouch; tuck the arms down; pull the right wing over, fasten it to the pouch with the velcro, and tuck it behind the left arm; then pull the left wing over and fasten it with the velcro to the right wing. Snug and secure in less than 10 seconds.
* Works for naps on the go, thanks to the opening for 5-point harnesses.
* The velcro on the pouch portion keeps the pouch secured to the wings. (Until your baby is tall and outgrowing the swaddler, see below in Cons section.)
* It's the only swaddler my little Houdini hasn't managed to escape. He can get a hand out the bottom sometimes, but the hand can't slap him in the face when he startles. :)
* Leaves room for baby's legs to move. Some other swaddlers keep the legs locked together, which puts your baby at risk for hip dysplasia.

Cons:
* Though it works with 5-point harnesses like those in his carseat, it does not work with the 3-point lap belt on his swing. He's a really picky sleeper -- he must be swaddled and swinging to fall asleep -- and using this (or any) swaddler makes it impossible to use the safety belt on the swing. We instead have to rely on the play tray to keep him in.
* When baby is tall enough, s/he can kick at the end of the pouch hard enough to unfasten the pouch velcro section. Then it comes loose and baby can work his/her hands out from the bottom... which makes the still-secured wings go over his/her face.
* Microfleece swaddler is really too warm for our summer baby, but the cotton ones didn't work well at all.
* Needs to come in larger sizes. This one is labeled "15-22 pounds, 4-9 months", but my 15-pound 3.5 month old definitely won't be able to use it until he's 9 months old.

Summer Infant 73560 Review by Mandi

This is just one of those things that works wonderfully for some babies and doesn't work at all for others. I've had 3 babies that *hated* beind swaddled. Then, along came baby #4. He loves being swaddled and when he is swaddled he sleeps like a dream, we're talking 8+ hours a night by 2 months old. As any mom knows, if you find a product that can provide that you want to shout from the rooftops!
Three 'issues' with it.
1. The velcro does not bother baby but it does bother me come laundry day. It doesn't stick to itself well enough in the wash to not get stuck to any knit baby items you may also have in the wash. This is a pain. I wash all my baby stuff in baby detergent seperate from our normal stuff so now I have to wash the baby's knit stuff seperate or it'll get ripped apart by this velcro. Doesn't affect the use at all but it is annoying.
2. Sizing, at least with my baby. He outgrew the small/medium at 2 months old. He's now 3 months old, and 16.5lbs and I am worried about what I am going to do when he's too big for the 'large' size! One of our large blankets (a green cotton one) seems very close to him outgrowing it very soon!
3. I cannot find a size large anywhere!!! That's why I had to go online to order more. ToysRUs had one neutral/boy colored size large and that was it, that was the cotton green one...no microfleece and I live in Wisconsin. He's in these every night and I like having different colors and I'd love if they offered prints in the large size.

All in all, if you have a baby that likes being swaddled, I highly reccomend these. I have the big muslin blankets that everyone seems to love and I do love them for many things but swaddling isn't one of them. He scoots down and gets the blankets in his face or loosens the swaddle and wakes up. He's not been able to loosen the swaddle on these blankets and he's a strong baby, plus I feel like they are safer. This blanket stays where it's supposed to, I've never found it anywhere near his face.

Allen Ave 70306 Review by happyfl

I haven't used the bag yet because we are waiting for the baby, but I love love this bag. The colors are great. Please note that it's actually shiny. It has lots of great compartments inside.

Allen Ave 70306 Review by anonymous (Goleta, CA United States)

I was excited about this bag, but when it arrived it was made of shiny cheap vinyl that had a strong plastic smell. It is NOT coated canvas as it is described and pictured. If I wanted something this cheaply made, I would have gone to the dollar store. I am disappointed. I love the higher quality bag that is pictured here. Needless to say, I returned it.

Allen Ave 70306 Review by irochka26 "erin" (Oakland, CA)

the bag looks very nice, is spacious, with lots of pockets and adjustable compartments. however, it is heavy, so if you plan to lug around a lot of stuff it ends up being quite cumbersome. also, the design on ours has started to come off and the bag scuffs. we have been using it for about a month.

Garmin 010-00697-40 Review by Awsome

touch screen takes some getting used to but its easy when you get the hang of it. I wish it had a bigger memory built in, I had to buy a bigger card to down load the map i needed. over all I'm happy with it!!

Garmin 010-00697-40 Review by fred

easy to use and accurate even for some one that hasn't used gps's before I would recomend this product for anyone

Garmin 010-00697-40 Review by Alexi Garcia

I have had Garmin GPS since 2001, from the old etrex venture to the navi 295w. The oregon is a device for pros. The design is flawless and the material is amazing, you can tell the outstanding quality when you hold it for the first time.

Pros:
Really accurate.
Friendly interface.
Touchscreen.
Waterproof.
Color display.
MicroSD capability.
Custom maps.
Great material.

Cons:
AA batteries. It might be useful if you are going camping and can bring extra batteries, but I have to buy rechargeable AA batteries because I hate disposable ones.
Lack of camera. I know the 550 comes with the camera, but this one has the same software so you can see pictures, but you can't take any.
Backlight display. It is a problem when it's sunny.
Resolution and quality of image. It might be that I'm too used to the nuvi or touchscreens, but the oregon display quality is not what you would expect from a touch screen and such a good device like this one.
Basecamp. I like basecamp, but I don't like the fact that it only works with basecamp and it's not compatible with mapsource.

As you can see, the cons are perhaps subjective, so the GPS device is one of the best of its kind.

Babys Only Organic Dairy Formula Case (6 cans) Customer Product Reviews

Babys Only Organic Dairy Formula Case (6 cans) Review by Mama_Jane (Virginia)

NO GMOs, good ingredients. I feel comfortable supplementing my infant's diet with this. The only drawback are the soy ingredients (oil and lethicin- but both are organic). I try my best to keep my children (and the rest of my family) away from soy because of the mal effects of soy phytoestrogens, but it is nearly impossible if using a manufactured food.

Babys Only Organic Dairy Formula Case (6 cans) Review by KP27

We love this formula, but in particular the probiotic supplement that Nature's One makes works so well. Our 3 month old had her second dose today and her stools are already back to looking exactly like they did when she was breastfed. I think the best part about this formula is that the milk comes from organic farms that graze their cattle 250-300 days per year and take excellent care of the animals (Cornucopia Institute report). Animal welfare is extremely important to me and I can feel good about this product (my husband and I are vegan). I was devastated when breast feeding didn't work out but at least we found a formula that is truly filled with the best organic ingredients and comes from reputable sustainable organic farms that treat the animals well. It also tastes better than other ones I've tried and my chubby little girl sucks it right down. The same company also makes DHA supplements from organic eggs, even though the formula itself contains more of the precursors than the leading brands...which they say leads them to believe the amounts in Baby's Only are sufficient for the baby to truly make their own DHA (Nature's One website).

Babys Only Organic Dairy Formula Case (6 cans) Review by Dave (Portland)

Just to clear up some confusion here is the quote from the manufacture's website:

"Baby's Only Organic Dairy-based Toddler Formula contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid (LA), the fatty acid precursors for Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Arachidonic acid (ARA)."

Conversion of ALA and LA by the body to the more active longer-chain metabolites is inefficient: 2-5% for DHA. So while adding ALA to your child's diet is helpful it is not a complete substitute for the ARA and DHA found in breast milk (of course no formula can match breast milk).

If you want to use this brand of formula you should consider adding DHA and ARA some other way. This same company makes a supplement called "Baby's Only Essentials DHA & ARA" and there are others on the market.
